The first meeting of the WIOMN Regional Advisory Group was held as a side event at the 12th WIOMSA Symposium in Gqeberha (Port Elizabeth) on 14th October 2022. This kick off meeting set the stage towards a consensus on the Regional Mangrove Vision (RMV) and the development of Regional Mangrove Action Plan (RMAP) through participatory Regional Policy Dialogues (RPDs).
